Main Meeting Presentation Description:

Focuses on common mistakes made throughout the industry by installing contractors, designers and competitors with steam system design.  It highlights common poor practices that have been duplicated from years past and covers good practices in steam system design moving forward.  It also covers issues that can arise from improper steam system design. With system design we review steam velocities, near boiler piping, steam header piping, proper header design, impact of condensate on the system, proper condensate system piping and design and proper boiler sizing.
